A little humor on a sick day!

Quinn was home sick today from school. He decided he was hungry and wanted Chick-fil-a. So, we loaded into the truck and went through the drive through. While waiting in line, the boys had this "discussion" or "argument". It just depends on how you look at it. I hope I get the dialouge right; it was just too funny!

Hayden: "I like wasps. Wasps are nice."

Quinn: "No they're not! They will sting you."

Hayden: "I didn't say wasps, I said caterpillars."

Quinn: "They are not nice because they are worms!"

Hayden: "No they're not, they're baby butterflies!"

Quinn: "Yes they are worms and they leave slobber on your hands!"

Hayden: "No they don't! Doggies slobber! Not caterpillers."

Quinn: "Yes they do! Because snails do slobber!"

Hayden: "No they don't! Only Doggies and spiders slobber brother! Don't they Mommy!"

Quinn: "Whatever, you don't know, Bub!"

And I get this entertainment for free!!!!!!!! I am blessed!

Yes, it is true; I've become a "screamer"!

I never thought I would say this about myself, but I am a screamer. It started during soccer and is even more evident in basketball. I like to think of myself as layed back and patient. People have even complimented me on it. But when it comes to my children and sports, I am officially a screamer. I only do it because I think it makes them play better. Phrases such as "where's your man", "hands up on defense", and "call for the ball" are the things that I yell, not say, but yell during a game. I've even ended up on my knees in front of my chair. My parents tell me "it's ok, he's only 5" and "we never screamed during your games". But, like I said, there is nothing wrong with it, right? Travis says I'm only a little bit pshyco! Oh, the pains of being Mommy!
