Love that modern photography!
I just love the things you can do on the computer with photography. I have to give Suz the credit for this idea. I like to call this masterpiece "The Shades of Easter". Sounds professional doesn't it!
On to GaGa and Pappy's for one more hunt!
Easter Fun at Nana's and Papaws
We began our Easter hunting fun at Nana and Papaw's house. It was a blast! Jakob and Bandy hid the eggs (notice how they are posing in action). Rowdy and Hayden, 2 peas in a pod, were out for blood. Hayden screamed on several occasions "Naughty Rowdy!" This was because they were after some of the same eggs, including the prize egg! Rowdy came out the big winner. Notice the green he is showing off! Gotta love the Easter Bunny!

Say...Build-A-Bear!
For a spring break treat, we went to Build-A-Bear. Ironically, the boys both picked out tabby cats. When it came time for clothing, they both surprised me. Quinn picked out an "Army Man" outfit with dogtags. He named him Jake, the Army Cat. Hayden went with the exact same outfit that his dog already has, a Mav's warmup suit. When I tried to change his mind, he told me he wanted his doggy and kitty to be on the same good team. It is hard to argue that.
We've missed you Angie.....and Brad!
We were so excited that Angie and Brad came to visit the big city of Dennis. Angie is Malissa's best childhood friend. We always love it when they come to town. Brad is a Lt. Colonel in the Army. My fondest memory is being 16 years old and Brad trying to recruit me into the army. Too much fun. My brother still laughs at the term army and me in the same sentence. Sorry Brad, I took all of these fun pictures of Angie and the fam, but did not snap one of you! Now you guys will have to drive another 12 hours back just so I can do that. Or better yet, move back!!!!
Check out my new smile!
Hayden is so proud of his "new teeth". My poor baby had to endure a grueling 2 and a half hours of laughing gas (that was good), shots to numb his mouth, and the sound of a drill wittling his front tooth and its neighbor down to nubs. Then, the dentist put on 2 shiny new white caps. It turns out that Hayden was born with a tooth condition that makes his enamel really soft. All of these "cavities" turned out to be places that had been chipped by food, cups, etc. He was such a brave boy! I am so proud of how him and his new smile!
