This is our front porch looking out of the door. You can't tell but the base of these flower pots are covered by water and hail. You can't see our steps at all!
This stump is about knee high, and you can see how much is covered.
This is one of the hailstones from outside our door. This is a nickel, but some were much larger!
Our neighbor Jim and Donna asked me to take this picture to show the mound of hail that had been blown on thier porch. Some mounds looked waist high.
Hard to tell, but the bottom 2 panes were busted out of our upstairs window; glad we have double pane!!!!It's amazing what can happen in a short amount of time. I turned on the tv to watch Wheel of Fortune, and found the caption "Tornado Warning, Weatherford in the Path". And shortly after that we were watching clouds whirl and twirl. Our neighbors even climbed their roof to watch. We ended up in the bathroom during by far the"worst" hail storm I've ever witnessed. I snapped some pics of the aftermath.
