We celebrated the end of school at Brooke, Courtney, and Haley's house. They had the whole pre-k class out for an swim party and was it fun! What an awesome pool!!! We felt like we were at a 5-star resort. The kids loved jumping from the waterfall. Quinn jumped once and belly flopped. He decided it was too painful. Hayden made it to the top 3 times, but opted not to jump. Coming back down the stairs was a lot easier and way less scary.

Thanks Coach Ali, for a great season!
The Ninja's season has come to a close. We enjoyed it SO much! Quinn and Hayden both loved the sport and did very well. We are so proud of them. They loved their coach, and friend, Ali- she is pretty much the only person we play for. What team will she coach next? We're there what ever it may be! Way to go Ninjas!

My Space vs. Blogger
What a way to spend a long weekend!
We had a great Memorial Day weekend. We spent Saturday shopping at the mall (always fun). Then on Sunday, we went to Jump X-Treme for a birthday party. It was Cole Reynold's (my best friend from highschool's little boy) 4th b-day. I had the best time seeing people I had not seen in forever. I even got to hang out with my pal, Ali! Hey Ali! Afterwards, we went and saw the new Indiana Jones movie. My critic review- very weird. Entertaining, but weird. Never would I have imagined that plot! (but worth seeing)
Memorial Day at Issy's- Jakob coaxed Hayden into the pool. Not since leaving him in the middle of the pool last year, and hoping it would help him realize he could float, has he wanted to swim. Ten minutes later, we couldn't get him out. Thanks Jakob and Beyla!
I wish I had taken a picture of Quinn with the goggles on. He found a pair of goggles and we rarely saw his head above water again. I think we can pass on the swim lessons for now!
Jerry and Terrie enjoying the new deck. We had a good time!

DSs For Everyone!
Our Dad Rocks!! Travis decided the boys had cared for their "used" gameboys (I think we payed like $30 for them at Gamestop last year) well enough that they could upgrade to DSs. They have been excited all day to go shop for their blue (Quinn) and black (Hayden) DSs with daddy. Quinn even shared his excitement with his teacher- he wanted to leave school early to go buy them! Great entertainment!
Zoo Trip 2008
We had such a good time at our field trip to the zoo. Mrs. Rachel and Mrs. Becky's pre-k classes took the yearly trip to the zoo, and I took the day off to go! And of course, Hayden tagged along too! We went in the Suz's Mini-Van- Mega-Fun- Mobile and had a blast. Only with them could you break away a little early to go get a "chino" from Starbucks and browse Barnes and Noble (aka library). The kids were too much fun. We have to do it again soon!
And the winner is...David Cook

Battle of the 2 Davids
It is down to the 2 finalist on AI- My favorite show! Our vote (mine and the boys) goes to David Cook, the resident rocker. Of course we're going to choose the rocker. Even though Quinn is sick, I'm sure he'll find a little groove in him tonight. On his mother's day questionaire that he did in class, the statement was "My mom is funniest when...". My boy put "when she watches American Idol". Is it the singing or the dancing that I do that is so funny? That is my question!?!?
