Comical Relief
Kids are just so funny. They say the greatest things. Hayden and Quinn have both enlightened me this week with some different versions of typical things. I hope you can find the brilliant humor in them as well!
Quinn: After their last Eagle Beat performance, Quinn was still in the dancing mood. Shaking his head and singing with all of his vocal ability: "We wear, We wear, Rock-ets! Rock-ets! Can you guess what famous Queen song these lyrics come from? I just didn't have the heart to correct him!
Hayden: Hayden loves to take a hairbrush and brush anything that is capable of being brushed. His stuffed animals, the boa around my living room pillows, mommy's hair, etc. He calls this playtime activity "Bootie Shot" rather than beauty shop. I'll let the beautician in our family correct that one!

Ordinary Miracles
Isn't family the greatest? I just love spending the day with the family! Time goes by so fast and they grow so much in such a little amount of time. Quinn's favorite thing to do now is make his own dinner (nice choice of crackers, carrots, and pepperonis). These are the ordinary miricles that make life sweet!
Lordy, Lordy, Look who's 40!!
Uncle Jerry is now officially an "Old Man"! Notice the Memory board game, for keeping the memory sharp! He also received a "Crap Slinger" (pardon the reference but that is what it is called). We enjoyed hearing his band, Clear River, practice during the party. Oh what fun it was! Happy 40th Bubba!
Just "BEAT" It! Our 1st Eagle Beat Performance
This was our very first Eagle Beat performance. The kids were awesome. They performed at the Brock home game last Tuesday night and were so much fun to watch. My hats off to Kay and Ali Cole. Marvelous job ladies!!!! They performed again Saturday night at the Tarleton State basketball game. They did an even better job then! Too much fun!!!! They will be making 2 appearances at the TCU games next weekend. Go Eagle Beat!

Let's See How Far We've Come
In the year 2007, so many "firsts" for our family. The boys met their greatest hero, Spider Man, at Universal Studios in the spring. The summer brought us "fun in the sun". Pool parties and time with mom, what more could we ask for? When the fall came, so did the 1st Day of School! Quinn began Pre-K at WCS and the backpack became daily attire. He also starred on the Strikers soccer team where he scored his first goal! We were so proud. Hayden went back to Buttons and Bows where he rekindled his school flame, Addison. We also adopted a new "baby girl" into our family. Roxy, short for Rock Star, is a golden mix and is such a joy for our boys. She longs to sleep on Hayden's bed, but she is "too stinky". As the leaves began to fall, we added a 66 club shirt to our closet and a "knight's tale" of Halloween fun. Hawaii was just a holiday away, where a roasted pig took the turkey's place at dinner. Birthdays came and showed just how much they have grown. Christmas lights sparkled, but not as bright as thier eyes when they saw that Santa had come. The number 13 was added to our family in the way of a basketball jersey (I was so proud he chose such a bold number). He even has 2 points in a game situation under his belt. So many blessings and memories have been experienced, and I've had the privalige to share these on this blog, also started in 2007. All I can say is, if 2008 is even half as good as this year has been, I CAN'T WAIT! Bring on the new year!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Santa Claus came to town!
Santa brought us so many good surprises! Transformers, MP3s, a basketball goal, and yes...Ninja suits! How ever did he know?!?
Who wants to party?
Quinn, Hayden, and Madison celebrated their birthdays with a jumping-good-time at Jump X-treme! What an awesome time; fun, friends, cake, and no mess for me! This, I could get used to. Happy 5th Quinn Bo! Happy 4th Bub!!!! Also, notice my fancy collage ability? Thanks Suz!!!! You're the best!
